My lastest parchment card

Hi everyone,
I thought I would share the latest parchment card I have done. I made this card for my best friends daughter, well she is more like a big sister than a friend and we are all very close. So I call her daughters my nieces.

Anyway, here is the card I made for Danielle's birthday. I like it and she was so pleased with it I got the biggest hug ever LOL

I used 2 siesta grids for this card. I cant remember the grid numbers but I will try and find them on the grids and let you know which ones they are.

The sprig on the side of the fan was a cutting from a flower arrangement piece. I know, not a very good description, but it is the best I can do LOL.

The top part of the card with the border, the ribbon is not actually ribbon. I cut 2 thin strips of parchment and coloured them with dorso colours and them threaded it into the border. I think this gives a lovely effect don't you.

I didn't put Happy Birthday on the card as she said she would love something that could be put in a frame. So that is why it just has 'Just for you' on it. Good idea don't you think

Anyway that is my latest card and I hope you have enjoyed looking at it.

My latest Parchment Card

Hi Everyone
I do hope you are all doing ok and that you have been finding time to craft. I have just finished doing my latest parchment card. It is from a beautiful pattern my Anne Quinn. It is one of her free patterns and is just so beautiful. Thank you to Anne for letting me have the pattern. I have really enjoyed making it.

The centre of the flower was made with beads. It was not that easy to thread them all together, but I think it finishes the card off just right.

I do hope you like my card and I would like to thank Anne Quinn again for the pattern

I have authorisation from Help for Heroes as a fundraising event

Hi Everyone
I am so excited that I have authorisation to sell my cards for Help for Heroes. This is such a very worthy cause and I think everyone should do something for the Service Men and Women that keep us safe all over the world and at home.

I am busy making cards and made another 12 cards yesterday. I will be taking pictures of the cards later today and you will be able to see them very soon.

Dont forget to go to Help for Heroes and donate. You dont have to just donate by buying one of my cards, you can donate direct to them.

Well watch this space for the new cards that I have done. These ones are cards for men, I know how hard it can be getting a card for the man in your life, so why not buy one of mine and help this very worthy cause.

Regards Debbie

Card Sale for Help for Heroes

Hi everyone
I am selling my cards for the worthy cause of Help for Heroes. You can email me with your order details and I will send you a picture of a selection of new cards that I have made just for Help for Heroes. I am showing you some of the new cards here for you to have a look at. Plus any of the cards that are on my for sale page can also be purchased. For every card that is sold I will give half of the purchase price to Help for Heroes.

Please be generous with your donations to this very worthy cause. Our brave men and women need us to support them in every way that we can. This is a very good cause and I would love to be able to give Help for Heroes £300 or more over the next 12 months. The more I raise the longer I will sell my cards for.

My father-in-Law was a service man and he was a proud man that always gave to this charity. For him I carry this on. Unfortuneately he lost his battle with Cancer in January 2012. I do this in the name of William Kingsbury, he was a corporal in the Cameron Highlanders, home base was Fort William, Scotland as an MP. He served some time in Germany.

So for you Bill, I do this in your memory.

This is a birthday card

This is a Happy Anniversary card

Well, I want to share with you some of the cards that I have done in the past. I dont think I have shown them to you before. So here goes.

I do love my parchment cards. I think they are the cards that I get the most enjoyment from. They might take days at times to make, but they are worth all the work that goes into them

my latest creations

Hi Everyone,
Well, it has been a challenging 12 months. But I have come through ok. I have been busy with my parchment and I have been enjoying the 141 with the Parchment Love Group. There have been some gorgeous cards that I have received from mylovely friends at the group.

Here are a couple of the cards that I have made for the group swaps.

The top picture is a fan and grid work that I did for my friends mum. She really loved this and she has it in a frame on ther mantel peice. I do love giving parchment pieces to my special friends, they always love them and it makes me feel good to give them.

The second one withthe 2 fans, was a swap with the parchment love group. We had to do a fan card for a partner, I was not able to make my mind up as to which fan to send. So I sent both. My partner was so happy to get the 2 fans. I am so glad that I joined in with this swap.

The final picture is of a pattern from the Parchment Craft Magazine. This pattern was my a gentleman called Bruno. His patterns are always amazing and I just had to have a go at this one.

I do hope you have liked the parchment stuff I have shown you. There will be more to come.
